Sin separates. God reunites.

God is not the Author of confusion.

Each sin of any degree must be fully resolved/paid for by a qualified Agent, who is: sinless, willing, capable, powerful to endure the fullness of wrath to satisfy the justice of God.

The nature of God cannot dismiss disobedience as small or without consequence. Sin is against God.

Forgiveness does not merely evaporate sin … rather, Bible forgiveness actively transfers the penalty of sin onto Someone Who can solve sin.

Bible forgiveness transfers the debt.

The debt is still valid, just paid for by a different Person. 🙂

Salvation boils down to a clean understanding of the true nature of God as holy, and from that realization forming an accurate perception of the insidious nature of sin… as sin directly impacts and offends the nature of God.

  • God is pure. Sin is impure.

  • God is right. Sin is not right.

  • God is against sin: because He desires better options for us

  • Sin is primarily against God.

  • God expresses a strong opinion on the stain of sin. Sin stinks to God.

  • Only God can fully resolve the puzzle of transgression.

  • God designed a beautiful solution to man’s most complex problem.

  • Only God can reconcile our estranged estate.

We start out cancer infested from head to foot in every organ. And only the Great Physician can fully and miraculously remove such contagion.

Only God, through His divine wisdom can make whole the breach in our relationship.

After all, Heaven is God’s home, and we are strangers craving an invitation for safe entry therein. In our sinful state, we can’t prance into the presence of One so pure as God.

Sin separates. God reunites.

The sensation of securely being embraced by the enduring promise of God Himself through accepting the unspeakable Gift of God’s salvation, is so overwhelming. Imagine peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God knew sin required a great Savior, so He stepped in Himself to make peace where punishment was eminent.

Sin cannot go untreated.

Sin cannot be dismissed.

Man’s nature is incompatible with God’s nature, except we humbly accept God‘s offer of reconciliation exclusively available through the Savior.

The idea that “some smaller sins may be dissolved” leaves people fearful, since the definition is ambiguous and unclear.

Sin requires an amazing solution.

Each sin deserves separation.

None can confidently claim self-righteousness before the sinless God.

All we want is a God who saves us completely and securely.

True salvation resolves the soul’s insecurity, being held fast in the everlasting hand of Christ and arms of God. Love is a Person Who will not let me go.

Sin reveals our greatest need.

None of us can resolve or dissolve our own sin; we know this. Neither will Godwink approval at sins of any size.

Sin is a four-walled prison box:

1. Breaking known laws

“for sin is the transgression of the law” first John three verse four.

2. Not doing what we should

“to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” James, 4:17.

Shirking responsibility. Not fully fulfilling one’s divine capacity and purpose.

3. Any act or thought not saturated in full faith in God.

“for whatsoever is not of faith is sin” Romans 14:23.

Self-faith is not faith toward God.

“In all thy ways acknowledge Him” That’s a tough requirement.

4. Man’s natural state is sinful.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9.

I am infused with a selfish sin nature from birth. We need a spiritual heart transplant. Ezekiel 36:26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”

Sin seeks to “solve itself” apart from Divine intervention. Sin deceives even the smartest. Sin distorts, and thereby elevates pride or crushes people.

Christ provides a fourfold solution:

1. Friend of sinners

He gets us. He became us. We knew He was different yet we felt He was our friend.

Hebrews 7:26 “For such an High Priest became us, Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens”

2. Supreme Substitute

“Ye were redeemed … with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot:” 1 Peter 1.

3. Ever interceding

Hebrews 7:25 “Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Christ maintains open conversation on our behalf with the Father and intreats favor.

4. Excellent Communicator

Salvation is not left up to chance.

We have assurance, blessed assurance, knowing full-well Jesus is mine! I cannot be separated from God anymore, because Jesus experienced and endured all my justly-deserved separation so that after the moment of salvation, God and I are inseparable. 🙂 The glorious security of eternal salvation is peppered all throughout God’s love Letter to us.

Hebrews 9&10: “But now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. … So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; … we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; … For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”

Everyone wants a good eternity. Christ offers to provide our eternal security. Will you accept His offer?
